Shannon Doherty Tells "The View" -- No Plastic Surgery!
Apparently Shannon Doherty was so broken up with tabloid reports of her having had plastic surgery that production on her new show 'Breaking Up With Shannon Doherty' had to be stopped until she could stop crying, according to a report in The Scoop."
Really. What's the big deal? I think these things are planned publicity stunts.
Jamie Lee Curtis and Plastic Surgery
Jamie Lee Curtis is apparently admitting to liposuction, lower eyelid surgery and botox and says problems with these procedures have led her to call it quits on the plastics.
I wonder what exactly happened and if it was avoidable. She might have been a bit young for the eyelids which could have been part of the problem. Liposuction in areas that don't have much fat can also make problems more likely. She also admits to substance addiction. Addicted patients should stay away from surgery. These are uncommon problems in my practice thankfully.
Michelle Pfeiffer has a Balanced Opinion on Plastic Surgery
This star has a balanced opinion on plastic surgery:
"If that nose or those jowls bother you do it! But this epidemic of people losing sight of what looks good, the distortion that has been going on is kind of creepy." She stated in In Style magazine.
Paula Abdul's Breasts and Pectus excavatum
Paula Abdul is getting picked upon for having "weird boobs...." here and here . She probably has old implants but also Pectus excavatum, an inherited chest wall deformity. You can't blame her surgeon for that....lol. Her breasts could be lifted but to improve the "dent" between them a more involved procedure would be required.
